The Scaling Triad Self-Assessment: Free Scorecard and Editable Template
Rate your Drive, Fidelity and Velocity. Multiply. Find out whether you are built to compound or built to plateau.
The Scaling Triad Self-Assessment is a free, one-page scorecard based on the Scaling Triad framework (Σ = D × F × V). It takes about ten minutes and gives you a single number: your Scaling Product. That number tells you whether your growth is bounded or exponential, and which of the three variables is holding you back.

What is inside the self-assessment scorecard
- Three factor blocks. Drive, Fidelity and Velocity, each with a plain-language definition and three self-rating statements scored from 0 to 1.
- The multiply panel. Combine your three scores into your Scaling Product.
- The threshold guide. Read your result against the 0.15 line that separates the bounded regime from the exponential regime.
- Your weakest variable. Name your ceiling and commit to one structural change this week.
Two formats, both included
- PDF scorecard. Print it and fill it in by hand.
- Editable Word template (.docx). Type your scores straight into the boxes, or copy the layout to run the assessment with your whole team.
Who this free scorecard is for
Founders, operators, product managers, builders and team leads who want to understand why effort alone is not compounding. Use it on yourself first. Then hand it to your team and compare scores.
Why your lowest score matters most
Drive, Fidelity and Velocity multiply. They do not add. A 0.9 in Drive with 0.2 in Fidelity and 0.2 in Velocity gives 0.036, which is close to zero. Even 0.5 across all three gives 0.125, still below the threshold. Your lowest score is a ceiling on everything else. That is why the scorecard asks you to find it first.
